A WORLD LEADING INDUSTRIAL GROUP
Intermac Australia is the Australian subsidiary for Intermac Glass
& Stone Division of Biesse Group, a leader in the production of
Glass, Natural and Synthetic Stone machinery. Today Biesse is organised
into four divisions who distinguish themselves by their specialisation
in the industry: Wood, Glass and Stone, Mechatronic and Systems. Within
the Glass and Stone Division there are four brands: Intermac, Busetti,
Gieffe and Diamut.
A GLOBAL PARTNER IN THE INDUSTRY
Biesse was founded in 1969, and has been a strong and successful
company with a healthy plan of expansion. The Glass and Stone Division
was founded in 1987 and the idea of transferring the workings of
glass and stone technologies Biesse developed for the working of wood
proved to be a brilliant intuition, which captured the interest of
manufacturers and designers from all over the world, immediately
placing Intermac as one of the leading companies within its field.
In the last five years, the Biesse Group has more than doubled its
number of employees, now more than 2,000 worldwide and its
manufacturing facilities comprise more than 100,000 square metres
of space. Intermac distributes its products directly through a network
of worldwide subsidiaries and localised dealers in the major industrial
markets.
